Happy Eve of Christmas Eve

Hope everyone's getting their last minute stuff done. This is my last Christmas card. Mailed it yesterday. I kind of still wish we had a month till Christmas. Lots of things I didn't get to do, like make a banner etc. Oh well, there's always next year.

This card was made from left over cuts, but I kind of like it.Thanks for looking and have a wonderful Christmas. God Bless. Stephanie

Hello everyone. I hope you've been enjoying the holiday rush.Mine has been hectic. Everyday seems to bring another thing with my mom. But inspite of that, I think I've got most everything done. Now I've got to make room for my son who is coming from Florida.
So I'm taking this opportunity to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. May you all be safe, happy, healthy and extremely creative in the coming year.

I won the necklace!

I entered a giveaway on the Creative Critters Cricut Club blog and I won. It was the cutest cluster necklace that Tammy Skinner made. It has mini pictures and beads and is just adorable. Anyway I won the kit to make one. Problem is I have 2 sisters with grandkids and a DIL and her mother who would kill for one. I guess I will have to try to duplicate it. (I sure hope it isn't too hard Tammy) I've been very busy with my mon the last couple of days so I haven't had a chance to post this. So Tammy I'm sorry for taking so long, I really do apperciate being the winner.
Here's a picture. I hope everyone has a great Saturday. I have to get my mom out of the hospital maybe today.  My nieces Birthday is the 21st and her husband arranged for a LOT of people to meet at a local mexican restaurant to celebrate. I hope to get a scrapbook page made that she can use for tonights pics.
God Bless and may your weekend be full of inspiration. Stephanie

Never finished!

You ever get through with your Chritmas cards, all signed, addressed, stamped and mailed- only to receive 2 more in the mail that day? That's what happened to me today. So a new design and I made 2 of them. I also received an unexpected graduation card yesterday in the mail. I don't know what colleges are thinking having graduations scheduled at Christmas. It's really hard to switch gears so quickly. I have to have this card done for Thursday evening. I also had to add to the teacher gifts for the school party Thursday afternoon. It's always everything at once. I also had to make my "Texas Trash" that has to be given out this week. (I have to make a second batch next week.) Anyway, here's the new card. It's pretty simple, on purpose. I used Celebrate with Flourish for these two.Hope you like them.

God Bless and I hope I can post the grad card tomorrow. Stephanie

Hi, cute new Christmas card

I loved doing this card. Maybe it's because it isn't just red and green. Anyway, it makes me smile. I did the whole thing with the Jolly Holidays cart. I love this one. The elf anf wagon were cut at 2 5/8", the tree cut at 4 1/2 ", limb in wagon with MS punch is 1 5/8", longer limb inside cut ay 3 1/4" and the black santa bird was cut at 2". Add a few snowflake punches, rhinestones and glitter and voila. It's done. I hop you like this one as much as I do.
We also have a few new followers joining us, YEA!

God Bless and happy crafting.Stephanie

Brand new Christmas card!

Good morning all. I finally got a card done that is more my style. There's only 1 and it took all last evening, but it's all me. I used rectangle nesties, Winter Woodland for the sleigh, Wrap It Up for the phrase and a foam stamp I've had for years for Merry Christmas. DCWV papers and a little bling and "voila," hours later a finished csard. (and of course Chrissy Cricut) Hope I can get inspired today, I have a b-day card for my bff's husband to make (for tomorrow), a sympathy card (a young mothr lost her 3 yr fight with cancer), and my mom is in ther hospital (a procedure today and 1 tomorrow and she can come home). Plus more Christmas cards to make.
God Bless and I hope everyone has an inspired day.Stephanie

More close-ups

This is just a couple more cards close-ups.

Thanks for looking. I think I need some blogging help. Is there a blogging for dummies?

God Bless all my Cyber friends. Stephanie

Try again - 4th time

All I was trying to do wa post some close-ups of the cards from Monday. Things have been haywire. I always get this warning that there security risks and I just "X" it out. My husband was on the computer and he clicked to delete the "threats." Evidently it disabled my ability to open things and go to other sites from emails. Is that what "cookies" are? Anyway Google "helped" me to re-enable this stuff. I hate when he gets on the computer. I hope this takes care of all my cyber problems of late. This is one of the reasons I can't create as much as I'd like. Even the simplest things take me 10 times as long as it should.

I hope everyone has a blessed day. Stephanie

Try again!

Good Morning!!!

I feel like I've been on another planet. I haven't made a card for about 2 weeks. ugh! I do have ALL my Christmas shopping done and everything wrapped and under the tree. (except Santa) I've been having to work around my grandsons school schedule. He goes at 12:30. So there's only 2 hrs in the morning to shop and 2 in the afternoon. But it's done.I've even started cooking.

I did design a couple of things in DS so I had a few ideas and yesterday I made "8" cards. I was so excited because I'm way behind. Here's a pic of all 8. I'll post each one later. There aren't a lot of cricut cuts and I used a lot of scraps, yea!

So I hope everyone has a great day. I hope I can get back to what I love to do, spending time with Chrissy Cricut.

God Bless everyone. Stephanie

I've been up since 2:30 am and I'm trying to relax without going to bed too early. So I decided to post the last Christmas card I made. I used Spongebob on my card. I think it turned out really cute. Hope you like it.

I used Spongebob and Christmas Cheer.

God Bless you all and have a wonderful weekend.

Another cute Mickey card.

Good morning! Hope everyone is well. I have another MM card for you. I really like this one. After making the first one ,this one "took-hold" in my brain and wouldn't let go. There's also another rattling around up there but I haven't made it yet. Anyway, here it is. I used a CB die for the front and MM on the inside, Mickey font for the head silhouettes and CAC (I think) for the lights. Thanks for looking. Have a great day and a great Thanksgiving.

God Bless and be safe. Stephanie

1st Mickey card

I have a son who loves Mickey Mouse. I decided to use MM in some Christmas cards. The front of the card has MM head silhouettes for ornaments. Mickey's silhouette decorates the inside of the card. I had fun making this one. I'll have another one tomorrow. Thanks for looking and I thank you for being such loyal followers.

God Bless and have a great night. Stephanie

When my hubby ges back from hunting we are putting up the christmas tree. YEA!! Now on to the cards. I'm only posting a couple of them now. They are pretty simple. I used Christmas cards cart for both of these.

One more Thanksgiving card

Good afternoon. Hope it's good. I'm going to try to post this again. Yesterday, blogger wouldn't cooperate.

I think this is the last Thanksgiving card. I've got to start wrapping and decorating my gift bags. I want to be through with all this by December. After this stuff I want to be able to make cards and projects. I really want to make a Christmas banner. But I have to do this stuff first. I have to make deals with myself, do "have-to" before I can play. Any of you have to do that?

Anyway, I used Thanksgiving and Celebrate with Flourish and DCWV papers on a kraft card.
Thanks for looking and God Bless. Stephanie

Sympathy card

Good evening. I hope everyone had a great weekend. Mine was pretty busy and I've got a busier week ahead. Anyway, back to business. My friend and neighbor lost her mom last week. She had been sick for a while. It's really hard, all our mother's are around the same age and not well. Something we all have to go through. Here's the card I made. I used the Easter 2010, Lyrical Letters, and Paper Lace and a few pearls. Thanks for looking.

God Bless you all and have a great week. Stephanie

I won some wonderful blog candy a couple of weeks ago from Bobby and Jill at Cricut Couple. I made a thank you card and they've already gotten it, so I decided to post it.

I liked the way it came out, hope you do too.

Simple Thanksgiving card

Hope everyone had a great day. I haven't been able to sit and create lately. So this evening I had to make some 3D pumpkins for my grandson. He wanted 4. From there I just went into card mode, sort of. All I could do was this simple one. At least I did something. I used the Thanksgiving cart for the whole thing. I told you it was simple. Anyway, here it is.

God Bless and may we all be creative tomorrow. Stephanie

Thanksgiving card - a little humor!

Good Morning! I hope everyone is doing well. I'm so excited. I got another card made last night. The idea came to me as I was blog hopping yesterday. You know how it is, you just have to create it or bust.

I used Hoot n Holler, Wild Card and Storybook for this cute card. At least I thought it was cute and funny. (not everyone "gets" my humor) Anyway thanks for looking, hope it was worth your time.

I just want to say "Thank You" to all my wonderful followers for taking the time to visit each week. It's not always easy, I know. You can spend half a day just visiting blogs. Maybe with time we can add some more friends to visit with us.

OK, so here's the card. God Bless each one of you and may you all have a creative day. Stephanie

Happy Saturday!

Good morning everyone! I hope everyone is having a beautiful day. My hubby is hunting and it's just me and my grandson here. We don't have anything "pressing" to do. We have the whole day to do whatever we want. Of course, I don't want to say this too loud. The "responsibility fairy" may decide I need a chore. So it's a secret. shhhh! So as I am crafting the day away, I'm praying there are no emergencies. Anyway, after I cut out a grasshopper for Gabe, I actually made a Thanksgiving card. It's really simple, but I got it finished. I used Thanksgiving cart, cuttlebug, stickles and a sticker for Happy Thanksgiving. The word art is beautiful on this cart but for some reason it would not cut Happy Thanksgiving cleanly.

Niece's Birthday - Big 30

Good morning everyone! Alright, so it isn't morning anymore. It was the first time I tried to post this. Had trouble with my post and had to try later. I went to JoAnn's this morning and they had Straight from the Nest, I was so excited! I kept looking and they also had Nifty Fifties and Birthday Bash. Yea me! All on sale. So I'm a happy camper.

Ok back to the card. I also got a card made last night. I used Lovely Floral and Bloom (Lites), Elegant Cakes, and Plantin. She loves jewel tones and I found the right paper in the DCWV Christmas stack. Her birthday is Dec. 21. I think she'll like it.

So thanks for looking and have a crafty afternoon.

God Bless and ya'll come back now, ya hear? Stephanie

Our Ghouls

Hi, everyone, just thought I would post a picture of our 3 youngest grandson ghouls. They are 5, 7, and 10. We were all worn out. Now we can try to recuperate for a year. Hope everyone got through the weekend OK.

I wish everyone a crafty week. I sure hope tomorrow I can create something, I've got several new cartridges to play with.

God Bless you all.

Finally finished!

I have a son whose birthday is Nov. 1st. His card is always hard for me. But this year I found the perfect papers. The print I've actually had for over 10 years. He's very conservative in colors and with his "day" right after Halloween, it's hard to switch gears. I think he'll like this one.

geese - Wildlife Lite

Its your day - George

Relax and mug - Wildcard

Happy birthday - Beyond Birthdays

3 CB embossing folders

Thanks for looking. If you'd like to be a follower, I would love to have you. I get so excited everytime I get a new follower. I wish I could make this blog more exciting, but this is all I know how to do. Would welcome any suggestions.

Hope everyone has a great day.

God Bless you all and be creative. Stephanie

I won a challenge. Me, can you believe it? I've never won a challenge before. You all probably read about the anniversary challenge at Cricut Couple blog, well, Bobby and Jill had such a wonderful anniversary celebration, they decided to have a challenge. I've been a fan of their blog ever since they started it. There is so much inspiration there. Anyway I won. Made my day!
If you've never visited their blog before, it's worth your time, I promise.
Hope everyone had a great Monday.

Halloween banner

Hope everyone is having a great day. I'm jst so glad it's Friday. My grandson goes to preschool in the aftenoon (UGH!). It messes up the whole day. So I have 2 days without explaining why he has to leave in the middle of the day to go to school. YEA!

Last night I finally got my banner finished. Gabe was helping me, you see. He loves it. He wanted it on his door but it was too big. So we put it in the den so he can see it the minute he walks in and wherever he sits. (that's very important, you know)

Everything except the banner is cut from Happy Hauntings and October 31st. I just love these 2 carts. There is several pictures to show details. Some stamping, Cuttlebug and lots of stickles and glitter.

Thanks for looking.

God Bless and have a very creative and peaceful weekend. Stephanie
