Finally finished!

I have a son whose birthday is Nov. 1st. His card is always hard for me. But this year I found the perfect papers. The print I've actually had for over 10 years. He's very conservative in colors and with his "day" right after Halloween, it's hard to switch gears. I think he'll like this one.

RECIPE

Its your day - George

Relax and mug - Wildcard

Happy birthday - Beyond Birthdays

Thanks for looking. If you'd like to be a follower, I would love to have you. I get so excited everytime I get a new follower. I wish I could make this blog more exciting, but this is all I know how to do. Would welcome any suggestions.

Hope everyone has a great day.

You all probably read about the anniversary challenge at Cricut Couple blog, well, Bobby and Jill had such a wonderful anniversary celebration, they decided to have a challenge. I've been a fan of their blog ever since they started it. There is so much inspiration there. Anyway I won. Made my day!
If you've never visited their blog before, it's worth your time, I promise.

Halloween banner

Hope everyone is having a great day. I'm jst so glad it's Friday. My grandson goes to preschool in the aftenoon (UGH!). It messes up the whole day. So I have 2 days without explaining why he has to leave in the middle of the day to go to school. YEA!

Last night I finally got my banner finished. Gabe was helping me, you see. He loves it. He wanted it on his door but it was too big. So we put it in the den so he can see it the minute he walks in and wherever he sits. (that's very important, you know)

Everything except the banner is cut from Happy Hauntings and October 31st. I just love these 2 carts. There is several pictures to show details. Some stamping, Cuttlebug and lots of stickles and glitter.

Thanks for looking.

God Bless and have a very creative and peaceful weekend. Stephanie

Happy Monday!!!

At least I hope it is. I've had a very busy Fri., Sat. and Sunday. We had birthdays parties and errands that kept us away. (away from my Cricut) So I didn't get a chance to cut anything until last night. (sob) So here's a peek at what is going on. I hope to finish tonight.

I am starting Christmas shopping full force today. I need to get everything bought for family and friends first, then I do my grandkids and kids. Theirs is always the hardest. So today's the day! I figure if I get this done early, I'll have lots of time to make decorations! YEA!!! (Christmas and Thanksgiving)

There's so many things I want to do.

So wish me luck.

God Bless and may you have a very creative day. Stephanie

Good Morninggggg!!!

Wow, I said that like I really meant it, didn't I? lol

Well it's Friday, football game day. Here in southeast Texas everyone joins in. School colors are purple and white, so that's what everyone wears. When you are out on Fridays that is the main color you see. When football season is over no one knows how to dress when Friday comes.

So in keeping with the challenge I made for myself (to make some kind of cricut cut everyday), I actually got a card made last night.

I ordered the Gypsy extension cord from Kendra at Scrappin Cricut and with my cord she sent me a Halloween embossing folder. I had to try it out on black cardstock and one thing led to another.

And "voila" a card is born. And of course I had to keep things in the spirit of the day, it has a "purple" spider.

Hope you like it. TFL

God Bless and have a great creative day.

Love card for a challenge

Hope everyone's having a great evening. I made a card for a challenge. Bobby and Jill at http://cricutcouple.blogspot.com/ celebrated their anniversary this week. So they issued a challenge to make a card with a love theme and use at least one cricut cut. I didn't make the typical love card. Anyway this is the idea that hatched in my head and I just had to make it.

Please be kind.

Hope everyone has a good nights sleep.

God Bless and may you have a very creative tomorrow.

My Pink Stamper "Cute" challege

I'm going to try to do some challenges. Seems like all I do is Birthday cards. I need to push myself. My Pink Stamper is having one right now. The criteria is make it "cute," that's it. I figured this one was a good place to start.I chose Paisley because the images are cute and I haven't used it much. I chose the elephant with the subglasses. I think it's cute, do you?

Anyway, I thank you for looking, hope you like it.I could use the company.

God Bless and have a creative day. Now the main attraction.

Baby is mended - YEA!!!

Thank you so much for your sweet thoughts. My grandson was able to go back to preschool today. I guess he had a 24 hr. virus. He sure did not appreciate it. He is never sick like that.
But he's all better, I'm the one that's tired. We're kind of getting back to normal.
I made a deal with myself. Everyday I have to cut something with my cricut. Even if I don't have a particular card or project in mind, just cut something. Of course, Gabe always has something for me to cut.
I think we'll all feel better if I get a little cricut time in each day.lol
Have a great evening and God Bless!

Good afternoon, I think

I hope everyone had a better night than my little granbdson had. Poor baby woke up about 1:30 throwing up. So we were up trying to keep medicine down. We used the drive thru at Walgreens to get some Emetrol. If you've never tried this it stops vomiting. (at least it has always worked for us-we've been using this stuff for over 30 years) So while he was resting I did a couple of blog hops. One is the Think Pink blog hop, starting with karelj.blogspot.com. and the other is Momo's birthday bash which has been going on all week, start at craftingwith christina.com.
They both have such wonderful projects to show. I got the chance to follow some wonderful blogs. They were all so talented.
My GS is feeling better now and able to keep sprite down. so maybe I can create something. My "E" is feeling abandoned. I think I'm having withdrawal!
God bless and be creative.

How's your week going?

After the excitement of card making day and the fact that I got a card made that night, I was feeling pretty positive. Then Sunday afternoon my mom fell and we spent the evening in the ER. Nothing was broken, thank goodness. She was previously scheduled for a procedure on Wed.
So Monday we spent the day in the hospital for blood work and x-rays. Today was the procedure. Should have been home in about 3 or 4 hrs. We were there all day! That's 3 out of 4 days in the hospital. Yesterday our hot water heater stopped working. We're supposed to get a new one tomorrow. I'm ready for a little normal. My poor little "E" has been missing me. Here's hoping I get to play in my "happy place" tomorrow.
I wish everyone a really good nights sleep. I'm sure I'm not the only one who needs it. So here's to good karma and creativity.
God bless you all.

Whew!!! and a Thank You for Melissa

Well, did everyone have a great day yesterday? I saw so many wonderful projects. Wish I had time to do all of them. But wasn't it exhausting? I was worn out. I'll have to "train" for next year, build up my stamina. lol

A few weeks ago I won some candy overat Melissa Made. Last night after I got through "hopping" I made Melissa a thank you card with my new goodies. This is the first thing I've done in a week. I used the Stampin' Up paper she sent me. That stuff cuts like a dream. So, thank you Melissa I really appreciate it.

God bless and have a great Sunday.
