Hi, all. Can you believe February is almost over? Today I'm hosting the challenge at BBTB2.We're also welcoming our new DT member, Melanie Brown to the family. Lots of you know her. She was one of the first blogs I followed, Courtney Lane Designs, when I started my blog. Glad to have you, Melanie.
I chose amethyst and a cake or cupcake for the theme. February is a very busy birthday month for my family. But I think I'm done with them. This one is for my great granddaughter, Alex, whose birthday is next month.
Here's the recipe:
Art Philosophy - postage stamp shape cut at 3.94
Home Décor - cupcake cut at 2.18
Create a Critter - gift cut at 3.12
An Epiphany shape maker circle, flower punch and a little glitter and bling.
Thanks for stopping by. Hugs and God bless. Stephanie
This is about the yummiest purple cupcake I've ever seen, Steph! Love the glitter and the inside is a pretty as the outside. I'm sure she'll love it and that's a fabulous twist adding the birthstone color to the challenge. xxD
ReplyDeleteWonderful card - love the colour!! TFS
ReplyDeleteLove your cupcake card Stephanie! Your purples are just beautiful together, love the glittery icing-so yummy looking! lol The inside of your card is just as beautiful as the outside! Now I'm sorry I didn't participate in your challenge, I did't read it right and just thought we were to use the color purple so my card didn't meet the requirements. Not sure if I was interupted or was having a dizzy moment, but when I wrote it down on my calendar, I just had "purple". lol Great challenge my friend! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card! I love the watercolor effect of the background paper! (((hugs)))
ReplyDeleteStephanie this was a fun challenge. Not being a purple fan, I was thrilled to locate my inner amethyst lover for this challenge!! Your card is lovely, especially that cupcake! Great layers and the inside is as pretty as the outside. Thank for a great challenge!
