Grandson's hat

Good morning. I can hardly believe this is Good Friday and Easter is in 2 days. This year is really going by fast. I have an anniversary next week and I have no idea what card I'm going to make.
But today I have a few pics of my grandson in his Easter hat.  He had a great time at school. They had a parade, egg hunt, and pizza party at the park across from the school. He wore the hat all day. He really looked cute.

Easter "bonnet"

Hi, all. Just a quick post fpr you today. (but lots of pics)
My grandson's school is having an Easter parade tomorrow and the first graders had to decorate an Easter "bonnet".
Since he is a boy we used a baseball cap. A sweet MB member, Colleen of " gonescrappin", helped me out with what glue to use. Glossy Accents worked wonderfully.
Thank you so much, Colleen.
So here's the recipe:
Spring Cottage - basket cut at 8.53
MS Seasonal Cake - fence border cut at 1.59, grass border cut at 1.0
Pooh and Friends - grass clump cut at .88
CAC - tall grass clump cut at 1.09
Easter 2010 - bunnies cut at .88 and 1.0; eggs cut at .88 and 1.0

Thanks for looking. Hugs and God bless. Stephanie
Tomorrow I'll post a pic of my grandson wearing it.
I actually can use this project for a couple of challenges.

cards, cards, cards

Good morning. Can you believe we're at the end of March already? Well, this is our last challenge for this month. Our very talented DT sister, Brenda, has chosen for us to use a card feature from any cartridge. There are so many to choose from. I'm still in Easter mode so I made an egg shaped card. Why not join us, but be sure to use a cricut cartridge for your card.
Art Philosophy - egg shaped card cut at 4.06, flower on inside cut at 1.82, 1.59 and 1.12
a tiny glittery bunny and swirl on front-scraps
punched flowers and lots of glitter

New card!

Yea, it's Friday! No alarm clock in the morning. Hope all of you have had a great week. I've had some ups and downs craftwise. (as you all know)'s card I like. After that frog I was afraid I wouldn't like anything again. lol
There is no cricut on this cared. I created this one with a paper trimmer, Spellbinders, Sizzix, flower punches, stickles and some ribbon.
Maybe it's the colors, but I really like this one.

Thanks so much for stopping by. Hugs and God bless. Stephanie

A Little more Easter

Hi, all. I can't believe it's already Thursday. I was going to create an Easter banner, but I couldn't choose my papers. I just got overwhelmed. This ever happen to you?
So I decided to create something simple.
The rabbit is cut from Folk Art Festival at 8. The chick and egg is from 3 Birds on Parade cut at 2.27. Add a little stickles and punched butterflies and you're done.
I took a pic of the back side to show this easel die cut. It's a Sixxiz easel die. Works really well.

Easter decor?

Good afternoon all. Hope your week is going well. Mine's a little nuts. I'm having a little trouble getting my "crafting" act together.
This is not one of my best efforts. My grandson (7) is really into frogs, the plush kind. So I told him I would make him a bunny frog for his room.
Well, it sounded like a good idea at the time. Didn't turn out exactly like I hoped. Oh well, he liked it.
So I figured if I had to make it, I should post it. You know, the good with the bad.
Are you ready for this?
Give a Hoot - frog on a lilypad cut at 6.53
3 Birds on Parade - Bunny ears cut at 8.`8
Sophie - eggs cut at 1.47

1st Anniversary card.

God morning. Hope everyone is well. I can't believe how fast March is going by. I'm almost caught up with the cards I need for this month.
I have 2 sisters with anniversaries this month.. The first one is on St. Paddy's Day so it's an easy theme. This one is at the end of the month so no shamrocks on it.
I made this very soft, romantic card with lots of spiral roses and die cut leaves. I loved it. When my hubby saw it, he said it was too frilly and really only for my sister. I needed to put some fish on it or something for our BIL. Well fish aren't going to mess up this card, so I made a second one. I'll show you that one tomorrow.
Today is the "pretty" one.
Art Philosophy - roses cut at 2.06, 1.82,1.94, 1.47
Wedding - lovebirds cut at 1.71
punched leaves, frames and labels-spellbinders, pearls, ribbon and glitter

Thanks for stopping by. Tune in  tomorrow for the 2nd card. Hugs and God bless. Stephanie

Bring on the Bunnies

Yea, it's Monday. of course my favorite thing about Monday is a new challenge at BBTB2.

Why not join us but remember to use your cricut.
Easter 2010-daffodil cut at 3.98; bunny cut at 2.11; grass cut at 1.37 and 1.61; chick on doily cut at 1.94
Holiday Cakes-Happy Easter cut at 1.82

Just a card

Well it's almost noon on this beautiful Thursday. Hope your week is going well. Our weather has been gorgeous but WINDY. I don't know why but the wind makes me so tired.
Anyway, I;m getting in a little crafting. Hope you are too. It keeps me sane.
I have a quick card for you today. I used a printed card blank by K&Co., Spellbinders dies, punched flowers and a hand cut sentiment flag.
I actually like it.

So Lucky

Hi, everyone. It's the start of a new month of Monday challenges at BBTB2.
For our first one our lovely, Brenda, has chosen "so lucky" and use shamrocks. Any cartridge but you must use your cricut.
This works well for me because I have a sister and BIL with a St. Patrick's Day anniversary. So this is for them. It is also my first shadowbox card.
Celebrate with Flourish-linked shamrocks cut at 2.18
Love Struck 1020-couple silhouette cut at 2.65
Carousel-ticket cut at 1.59
sentiments-computer generated and hand cut; small shamrocks are punched

The ticket is redeemable for deer sausage. (which they love) They always bring homegrown yard eggs.
Thanks for stopping by. Hugs and God bless. Stephanie

Dream Catcher

HI, everyone. Hope you're having a great Saturday. Mine's been nice. I haven't had to leave my house. YEA!!!
Last night my grandson asked me for a dream catcher because he had a bad dream. So today I thought I'd make one.
I couldn't find one so I posted on the cricut MB and got a reply from Lisa. She said she didn't know of any carts with one but why not try a spiderweb.
So thanks to Lisa I had a place to start. Thank you, Lisa.
Here's the recipe:
Pumpkin Carving - spiderweb cut at 5.59
George - circles cut one inside the other to make a ring - 5.59 and 4.76
3 Birds-Straight From the Nest - feathers cut at 4.91, 4.38 and 4.03
everything is cut twice and glued together so it looks good from both sides

Thanks so much for visiting. Hugs and God bless. Stephanie
