Happy Halloween!

I have one more décor project to show you.  (I think I'll be glad to change to fall)

I know all the kiddoes are looking forward to it. This night always makes me nervous. I hate driving on Halloween, you can't be too careful.

Well, this is Gabe's closet door. He approved this, too. He knows I can't handle the "real" blood and guts décor so he settles for cute-spooky.

The witch in the moon is from Celebrate with Flourish
The banner cuts are from Bird's Cards

Thanks so much for stopping by.

Countdown to Halloween

It's "hump" day. Don't you just love that commercial? It always makes me smile.

I have another Halloween theme post for you.

This time it is a countdown calendar. This is another hybrid project. Love using my cricut with my portrait. Lots of options.

Take a look:

I think it turned out OK for a quick project.

Love the company.

A little extra...

I know this is unusual for me but I just had to share.

A favorite designer of mine for cut files is Jamie Cripps. Since I only have a Portrait it helps if the designer states if it is compatible with the "P". Jamie always does.  That's not all, she gives tutorials for her new designs, very clear.
So when I saw the bat trio released yesterday I bought it right away.

These are the cutest, easiest, biggest bang for your decorating buck.

You fold on the score lines and add a little tape to put on the wall. They are so cute.

Just cut, fold and stick on the wall.
Take a look:

Happy Tuesday. I love Tuesdays, lots of new and sale files in Sil store. Love choosing just the right ones. I get to shop and no crowds or lines. lol

Today I thought I would share Gabe's door to his room. This is the poseable skeleton in the Sil store. This time I ungrouped and cut each piece separately with my portrait. It really made a large skeleton.
He loves it. He wanted it posed like he was running, so I did my best and used fun tac to hold it in place. I think it works.

Halloween banner and tree

Good Monday morning!  Halloween week. I think kids are already getting excited. (Gabe is anyway)

This is one of the first things I made for this year. When I took the b-day stuff down I went straight to Halloween. I think Gabe liked having something new to look at so soon. Besides if you do the work, it should be around awhile, right?

I decided to leave the red ribbon up all the time and just pin the new décor for each holiday. So much easier than centering a banner and climbing up and down a 3 step stool. I'm short and that always took me forever.

I like having the tree around so it gets decorated, too.  When you can cut tons of different things for any theme or occasion, it's affordable  and fun. (makes me happy, anyway) I also have a bright hot pink tree but haven't used it yet. Just waiting to get inspired, I guess.

OK, here's my projects:

The bats, spiders and banners are cricut cuts. Trick or Treat, pumpkins and skulls are from the Sil store.

Thanks for stopping by.

Have a great week.

Do you see?

Happy Sunday, all. Hope you're all ready for another week. Still dealing with health issues and hoping I can pace myself to get all the holiday stuff done, and still be able to move. lol

Today I have a cute box from the Sil online store. The eyeball box. Some might think it's creepy but I fell in love with it. I think it's creepy-cute. Anyway, Gabe loved it.
It really is a nice size even cut on the Portrait. Holds lots of goodies.

So without further ado, I present the "eyeball box."

What do you think? Cute, huh?

Happy Saturday, everyone. I'm back with a little more Halloween fun.

These fun cuts are from the Silhouette online store. The movable skeleton is glued together. With the Portrait it's just too small to attach with brads.  But for this door it worked well.

This is Gabe's  bathroom door. He thinks it's cooI think I'm going to enter this at the Silhouette Blog challenge.

Take a look...

Halloween decor

Good morning, everyone. Seems like it has been a while since I posted. I hope to get better. I have made several things  (mainly with my Portrait) cut and glue together not much creative process.  I seem to have lost my mojo.

Anyway, I thought I would post some of my cutting.

These are the treat bags for Gabe's 2nd class: (used my portrait, of course)

These were very simple and I think they won't offend anyone.
Thanks for stopping by. I actually have several days worth of projects to show ya'll, I just have to get them posted. lol

Evan's Birthday

Good morning everyone. I think it's Tuesday, right?
I have a cute birthday card for today.

My nieces son, Evan, turned 7 yesterday. (went to his party Sunday) He's such a little character, really had a good time at his party.

He's had Skylanders since last Christmas and is just now getting into it.
For Gabe's b-day they gave him Skylanders stuff cause he got the starter pack. So my niece, Brynn, sent me a message that Evan would like the same thing if I had not already bought something.

So I took back what I had purchased the day before to buy what I now knew he would love.

When he opened it he said "Mom look, they gave it back to me."
Gabe turned to me and said, "Mimi, did you give him mine? Or did you buy it just for him?"

I should have expected this from them. lol  No I did not regift. They each have their own.

Here's the card:

Good morning!

Hi, everyone. Hope you're having a good week. I'm just glad it's Friday.

Have you made any Halloween decorations?  I've done a few. Very easy just cut glue and put on walls. That's what I need right now, easy.  Most of them are cut with my Portrait. Sometimes I just can't wade through all the handbooks for the cricut to find what I want.  I'm just thankful I have a choice.

I love 3d and the Sil online store has a ton of these cuts. Some of my favorites are the 3d ledge village pieces. There are buildings and accessories but they are only about 3/4 of an inch in depth. (did I say that right?)

Anyway there are about 15 of them and I have made 7 or 8 so far. I thought they would be cute for Christmas above the doors in my house and maybe on some shelves. It would be so easy to add little wreaths, banners etc.

Well a few weeks ago they came out with a haunted house ledge piece. Of course I had to do that one right away for Gabriel's room.

I think it came out so cute. I added the "boo" and ghosts.

Here it is:

Here it is using the flash.

Without the flash it really looks eerie.

In this one you can see it's over a door. So they are not very big but I fell in live with them all.

What do you think?

Can you believe it?

I have a card AND I'm posting it.

I've actually done lots of cutting but just a few cards. I'm having trouble posting. I can't seem to keep any kind of schedule.

Well, this one is for my BIL whose b-day is today. He has a black and silver Harley that is his pride and joy. When I saw this cut file at Bird's Cards I had to make it for him. They have some wonderful cut files and they are all free. Fabulous site

This was cut with my Portrait. (which I love)

Here it is:

I hope he likes it.

Thanks so much for stopping by. I will be posting more often. I have some Halloween décor coming.
