Wonderful Day!!!

Hi everyone. I just wanted to wish all my family in bloggie land a happy and wonderful Thanksgiving.

You have all inspired and encouraged me so much.  I am very thankful for all of you.

Have a blessed day.  (don't eat too much turkey)

I don't have to worry about that...we're having tacos. haha

Last TG post

Hi everyone. Just 2 more days till Turkey day. Are you all ready? Ours will be very simple so no problem.

I think this is the last post of a TG project this year. This was a card from the Sil store. I liked it so much I just cut the front and framed it.

Take a look:

This one was taken with the flash on.

No flash

I really liked the composition.

Thanks for dropping by.

Fall 3d

Hello and happy Monday.

Today I have a 3d fall screen to show you. Like most of the 3d I couldn't wait to make it. This one is also from the Sil online store. I think I'm addicted to this stuff.

The extra small leaves are a suggestion from my 8 yr. old grandson. He thought it would look better. I think he was right.

What do you think?

Thanks for dropping by. I love reading your comments.

Have a great week!

A little table decor

Hi and happy Sunday.  It's not raining today but it is cold. So glad I'm inside.
Hubby is hunting and I'm crafting.

I think I'm finished making things for Thanksgiving. I'll just be posting them for a day or 2.

It'll just be 4 of us for Thanksgiving and this son asked for a no frills  meal. We are having tacos. We all love them.

So I promised not to go overboard. I made a simple cutlery holder and placard. (not needed but I did it anyway)

So this post is very simple.

I don't think they will mind this. But they will probably tease me.

Thanks for stopping by. Hugs and God bless .Stephanie

Cute tree

Hi, everyone. Are you happy it's Friday? I sure am. No school next week. YEA!!!

It will be so nice not to have to be somewhere first thing in the morning.

I've been doing errands and some shopping for the last 2 days. I thought I better finish posting about Thanksgiving before it's over. haha

I'm really getting lots of use out of this $2.50 Christmas tree I got  2 years ago at an after Christmas sale.

This one is decorated with pumpkins and turkeys. I have my cornucopia, a 3d turkey and some 3d trees with it. I think it looks OK. It was fun to make.

Thanks so much for stopping by. I enjoy reading any comments.

More Thanksgiving

Hi, all. How was your  Monday? Well, ready or not, we always have them.  Monday's are sometimes just sooo hard! So I decided to put a smile on my face and make the best of it.

Are we all smiling? lol  I hope so because we all made it to Tuesday!
OK, enough silliness. Lets get down to business.

I have a few more projects to show you. These are just individual cuts that I had fun making and they happen to have a Thanksgiving theme.

So here they are:

These are all Silhouette cuts. Aren't they cute?  Again, I just love the Sil 3d cuts.

Thanks for stopping by. Have a great day.

New card

Happy Sunday! Hope your weekend has been fabulous. Getting to craft any?

I have been able to do some things for Christmas. YEA!!! I think I'm finished with my Thanksgiving décor. (unless the Advent Calendar Kit I ordered from Silhouette arrives early enough-then there might be a few turkeys clipped up) haha

Yesterday I made a countdown calendar. Today I made another Christmas card. I'll show you the calendar another day.

Here's the card:

I love poinsettias and I thought this was a pretty one. It is a Lori Whitlock design from the Sil store. I loved the shape of the petals/leaves. The label is Spellbinders and the little flag is handcut. The glitter paper is DCWV glitzy paper. (my favorite glitter paper)  Inside is a holly cut from a card kit I bought at Sil store.

One more card down - progress.

Thanks for stopping by.

Hugs and God bless. Stephanie

I'm even entering this card in a challenge:

Crazy ads and project photos

Yea, it's Saturday. I'm so glad.

Well I thought I had taken care of the crazy popups but when I set the privacy to "high"  it wouldn't let me get to my emails.  So I guess I have to put up with it till my son gets here for Christmas.

We are a computer challenged family. We know just enough to really screw things up! lol

So I'll just do what it allows me to.

Here are a couple of photos of some 3d Thanksgiving décor I've made.

Thanks for taking a peek.
I still have lots to show so there will be more. (last night I started working on Christmas cuts. I'm so excited)

A little Thanksgiving decor

Hooray it's Friday! Are you as glad as I am? It's been a crazy week. And to top it off, yesterday I started getting these crazy ads. Something called ad surf. Crazy pop ups every time I try to open a site or email and loud commercials.

I'm also getting ads to "fix" my computer and update media player. It also says you may or may not need to update. I can't get them to stop.

I did figure out how to disable "ad surf". I'm hoping this takes care of most of it. I wake up every morning with my coffee and emails and believe me this has not been relaxing. Oh well, never a dull moment. Maybe I've added a few new brain cells to this 63 yr. old brain. haha

Enough craziness. I have a few photos to show you.

I usually don't decorate much for Thanksgiving. I have some wood pieces I painted years ago but I haven't done much with paper. This year I'm finding so much that I love and I'm cutting a lot of it.

(I just hit enter and got an ad for a new car, I guess the ads aren't done)

Today I'm going to show you my banner.

All this is cut with files from the Silhouette store. I never thought I would love a machine that has to be hooked up to a computer. But I can choose files and make what I want so much faster.

Please don't be distracted by the pins. I set up this banner ribbon to be used over and over so I wouldn't have to climb up a step ladder and try to center each time I changed décor. This way makes it much easier for me.

So thanks for stopping by. Hope you have a great weekend. I have so much I want to cut. (Heaven!)

Hugs and God bless. Stephanie

Austin's b-day

Good morning and happy Tuesday. Today I have a birthday card  for a grand nephew.
Austin turned 8 on Nov. 7th.

I hope he likes it. He'll probably like the money more. lol

This is another card kit from the Sil store. I just added some cute on the inside.

Veterans Day

I just wanted to say thank you to all the veterans, past, present and future, that make it possible for us to enjoy the freedoms we have.

Finally finished!

Happy Tuesday morning, everyone. Hope you're all having a nice week so far. Now that Halloween's over it's time to do fall and Thanksgiving.  This year I seem to want plenty of pumpkins.  And there are so many to choose from.
In this project, a 3d cornucopia, I wanted a pumpkin, too.  All these cuts are from the Sil store.  The perspective isn't right. (you don't usually find acorns bigger than pine cones and pumpkins) lol  It is pretty close to what I envisioned.

What do you think of this?

Thanks for stopping by.

Fall back,again?

Good morning. Did everyone remember to set their clocks back? I totally forgot. Thank goodness it wasn't a school day. Poor Gabe would have been up a whole hour too early. lol

I'll spend the rest of the week trying to deal with the change. About the time I get used to it, it totally changes again. A vicious circle. Makes me want to just curl up and drink hot chocolate. Hoping the chocolate gives me the energy to craft. Maybe I should switch to coke to keep me awake. lol

Oh well, onto to today's post.  The challenge on the Silhouette Blog is to make a pillow box and embellish it with Sil cuts. I love challenges and this one went quick. It's also a project I'll be able to use for the holidays.

The box and the snowflakes were all cut with my Portrait and I just added the bling. Very simple but I like it.

Thanks for stopping by.

Grandson's treat boxes

It's Saturday and hopefully the candy will be gone soon.

These are the treat boxes I made for the grands. They don't really care about the boxes so long as their favorites are inside. lol

and here they are filled
They hold quite a bit.

These are boxes that can hang on door knobs. (from the sil store)

Thanks fore looking.

Happy Birthday

Well, it's Nov. 1 and what a special day it is.

In 1976, I had 2 little boys, 3 and 5, and was 9 months pregnant. After trick or treating with 2 little boys I was worn out. Got to bed about midnight and labor pains woke me at 4 am.

We called my Dr. and he said to meet him at the hospital at 7. Very soon after that my 3rd son was born. So Halloween and Nov. 1st bring lots of good memories for me.

I hope he likes his card.

 Happy Birthday, Ryan.

Thanks for stopping by.
