Last January B-day

Hi, all. This is the last birthday card for January.
My niece love4s purple, so I use it for her cards.
The recipe for this one is very simple.
I used scraps for the whole thing. The ribbon was the only new thing. The butterfly was an extra cut from Artiste. (can't throw away extra cuts, can you?)

Good morning all. Hope you're having a great start to your week.
I'm trying to get my cards finished. I'm really behind.
This is a birthday for a favorite aunt. I didn't use my cricut on this one, but I did use my cuttlebug.
It's an A2 card. I used embossing folders, ribbon and some bling.

I chose to use one of my favorite monogram fonts, Tie the Knot.
This is a 4x4 note card and the monogram is cut at 3".
What's your favorite? Why not join us? Just follow our guidelines and use a circut cut.

Bird on a branch

Hi, everyone. Today we have our second challenge for 2013 at BBTB2. Our lovely and talented, Jayne, has asked us to use a" bird on a branch" in our projects.
We have lots of cuts on our carts that qualify. The problem could be choosing one.  Why not join us.
Just make sure the "cut" you use is a cricut cut.
I decided on a tag. The weather is really nasty today and I needed a reminder of what is coming.
Recipe:
Spring Cottage - bird and branch cut at 2.65
tags - spellbinders, MS butterfly punches. flower punches, hand cut sentiment label and a little ribbon
That's about it.

Easing into my routine

God morning all you crafty friends. I have missed creating like you wouldn't believe. I'm so glad to have a working computer again. I loaded my pics and this will be the first time to add an image  to a post. I hope it works because my son is flying back to Florida as I write this. (he's my computer guru) I now have a portable hard drive to back up my pics. That's really all I care about when my computer crashes.
I hope you all enjoyed the holidays. We did but I'm looking forward to a little "normal".  We had a couple of deaths during the holidays. Our nephew's MIL died suddenly and some friends lost their father. Yesterday I made both sympathy cards. No cricut, just Sizzix, Spellbinders and Cuttlebug embossing folders.
Very simple but they do the job.
Thanks for stopping by. God bless. Stephanie  (Yea!!! it worked!)

Happy New Year!

Just wanted to wish everyone a happy and healthy new year.
I have a new tower for my computer and trying to learn to use Windows 8. (so different from Vista) There are no pics in my photo library yet, so no photo on this post.
I hope to be back to creating and posting next week. It's very hard with out of town company. (even if it is your son) I can't disappear into my craft cave. I sure miss it and all of you.
I look around at all my carts that are in their boxes and I just want to cut things out. I'm having serious withdrawal. I haven't really created anything in over a month.
To finish up the few Christmas cards I did I used 3D stickers and stamped the sentiments. My computer was dead for over 3 weeks. My son did get it going for about 24 hours and we were able to put my photos on a little thing. (can't remember what it is called)
Anyway I'm looking forward to getting back into the swing of things.
Thanks for dropping by. God bless you all. Stephanie
