Silhouette challenge

Good evening. Hope you've all had a great weekend.
We're doing lots of visiting with my son, but I do get a few minutes here and there to cut something.
The Silhouette Blog has a weekly shape  challenge. This week the shape is a floral ornament or use the free shape of the week.
I decided to buy the flower and use it with the free shape, a picnic basket.
I welded two of the baskets together for a card and used the flower as a decoration. I also added a phrase, Lets eat ya'll!

I think it turned out pretty cute. What do you think?
Thanks for stopping by.
Hugs and God bless. Stephanie

Summer Fun

Hi, all. Today it's going to be inspiration  Monday. So it's hosted by all of us.

I made a hybrid (ala Susan) card. The step card base was cut with my Portrait and everything else with my cricut.
Recipe:
Life is a Beach - waves cut at 1.0, swimmer cut at 3.0, seaweed cut at 1.71 and  2.29, coral cut at 3.0, shark cut at 2.18 and whale cut at 2.06
H2O - "jump in"  cut at 2.18
I put the white paper behind it so the card would show better.
Be sure to check out the rest of the DT. You will find all the inspiration you need to make a summer project.
Hugs and God bless. Stephanie
Please excuse the white paper behind my card. The green didn't work  and evidently this doesn't either. It looks ridiculous. Sorry I just snapped to this conclusion.(I'll blame it on a senior moment) lol

From my Kitchen

Hi, all and happy Monday. Today our new challenge at BBTB2 was chosen by out talented DT sister, Shelly. She has asked us to use the cart, From my Kitchen.
I love this cart with all the retro appliances.
I decided to make a small gift card holder. This is just big enough to hold a gift card or a couple of tickets or even cash. It would fit inside a card or a pocket etc.
Recipe:
From my Kitchen - mixer cut at 3.35, bowl cut at 3.82
Carousel - ticket cut at 1.59

Font challenge

Hi, everyone. I'm here for a second post today.
There's a new challenge on the Silhouette blog. Use a font from your computer and make a project. Well, I thought I would have to sit this one out because I didn't know how to do this.
Today there is a tutorial on the blog telling you how to access your computer fonts. Yea!
I tried it and it worked. So I just had to make something.
During the school year the students are always selling something for the school. One of these times I bought a cute insulated tote that will hold ice and keep things cold. It looks really chic and not like a clunky cooler.
I decided it needed some vinyl on it. And what goes better with black and white but bright pink.
So this was another maiden voyage for me - first time with a computer font and first vinyl cut.

What-cha think?
Thanks for stopping by.
Hugs and God bless. Stephanie

Hubby's Birthday

Happy Sunday, everyone. Today is a special day around here - my hubby's birthday.
It's a little harder to make his card since he's retired, he's always around and he's very nosy. lol
I had to bar him from my craft room last Sunday just to make his card.
It's a simple card but I think he'll like it.
recipe:
Outdoor Man - deerhead cut at 3.7, target and deer cut at 3.5
Stamping - happy birthday cut at 1.59
Thanks for stopping by.
Hugs and God bless. Stephanie

Silhouette card

Good Wednesday morning. How is your week going? Are you enjoying summer vacation?
I'm pretty happy if I can craft. Cause if I can craft, things are going pretty good.
I have a card for you today.  It's a cut file so you can do whatever you want once it's cut out.
Lots of options with this one depending on the size you cut.
Take a look:

I enjoy the company, come back soon.

Card holder

Good morning. Here we are in a brand new month, June. This year is flying by.  We're also at the beginning of hurricane season. UGH!!! Ready to see what I made for you today?
This project is one of my favorites. It's a magazine/card holder with a sleeve. (that's a mouthful)
The size I made will hold A2 cards and envelopes.
Isn't it cute? (useful, too)

Thanks for stopping by. Love the company.

I decided to make a cute tag. This challenge reminded me of a nursery rhyme so that's what I used for my sentiment.
Recipe:
Create a Critter2 - ladybug cut at 1.82
Ribbons and Rosettes - grass rosette cut at 1.59
a little glitter, ribbon and buttons

Sketch Challenge #2

Happy Saturday, everyone.
Today I have a card for the 2nd challenge at Jo's Scrap Shack. It's a new sketch and I'm really loving these.
The theme is "you're only as old as you feel". Cute, huh? I'm going to use this one for my cousin's birthday.
I used an A2 card blank, paper trimmer. Spellbinders scalloped ovals, scissors and ribbon for this one. The paper is Colorbok from Walmart and it's Double Sided. I love that.
You should check out Jo's blog and enter her fun challenges. There will be a new one each Friday.
You're sure to get lots of inspiration from her beautiful work

Thanks for stopping by.
Hope to see you again soon.
