Getting New Yeary around here

Happy Tuesday, everyone. Just two more days left for this year. I can't wrap my head around this. It happened so quick.

I'm not making a lot specifically for New Years but I hope to make a bit for winter. Lots of snowflakes. (since we don't get much of that here in southeast Texas)

Anyway Gabe said I needed a" New Yeary" banner to put up the day after Christmas and I had it ready.

Take a look:

It's simple but he liked it.

Thanks for the visit.

Happy day after!

Well, how did it go? Did you get everything done before Santa came? I don't know about you but I'm glad for today. I'm relaxing! (maybe I'll get the 3d champagne bottle done for New Years.)

I have a feeling we will all need a nap today. lol

Gabriel was so excited he could barely go to sleep Christmas Eve. I got up at 2 Christmas morning and went to look at the temp setting (I was cold). Gabe met me in the hall and exclaimed, "I'm up!"  I told him what time it was and he had to go back to sleep. lol

Then we had to "wake" him up around 7.

The rest of the local family came about 10:30. (2 sons, 1 daughter-in-law, and 2 grandsons) I had everything cooked. We visited, opened presents, the 4 of them got new phones. Alec, 14, helped transfer info and set the phones up.  Alec is the one we all call for tech how-to. How do kids know this stuff?

Anyway, it was a wonderful day. Lots of leftovers which I'm freezing for New Years.

OK, so, the purpose of this post, and the next couple of posts is to finish showing Christmas stuff.  I know I should be done with that by now but time got away from me.

Here goes:

Thanks for stopping by today. Hope you have a relaxing one.

Quick post

I know it's Christmas Eve and everyone is busy but I have a very short post for you.

I bet you thought I forgot about my Christmas bats. Well, I put them on my little tree.

This is what Gabriel had to say - You put bats on the tree! That's just a little weird, Mimi. Then he never mentioned it again.
So it didn't really phase him.

However, he walked in the other and went up to my banner. He pointed to it and told me that it had to be removed the day after Christmas. So I better get busy and make a New Yeary one.

So I hope you're all having a wonderful Christmas Eve.
Many blessings and be safe.

Brynn's birthday

Good evening on this Sunday. I meant to post this this morning, but I forgot.

I did get some crafting done.

My wonderful niece was born on Dec. 21st. (a few years ago) lol So I did not want her card to have anything to do with Christmas.  This one is just about her day.
Here is the card I made for my niece.

I know this was very short but I am very sleepy.

My entry

Hi, everyone. It's just 3 more days till Christmas vacation. I'm so ready.

Yesterday I finally entered the SVGCuts Christmas Challenge.  I'm still nervous about it.  You get 1 picture. I wish I could get a close up to show what I used.

Take a look:

Train from North Pole Express, tree from Santa's Surprises

the details are from Clara's Christmas strips - holly, berries, snowflakes ribbon and bow

garland from Clara's Christmas strips, 3d popcorn from Summer Blockbuster
to mimic cranberry and popcorn garland

Well, there you have it, my Christmas past

Last school day Monday of this year, YEA!!!

Good Monday morning, all.  Hope you had a good weekend. I addressed my Christmas cards last night and they are ready to mail. Yippee!!! So I figured I should post  a couple.

I intended to make mostly box cards (SVGCuts) but they are  oversized and I would have to send in  boxes. I can't see $3.00 or more for a card to mail. So I am hand delivering a few of them and using some for d├ęcor.

Anyway, here's a few cards for you:

This is 3 of my designs. Hope you like them.

Thanks for stopping by.
