Spring one way or another!

Hi, all. It's Saturday afternoon and I forced myself to take a photo so I could write a post. I don't know why this is so hard for me to do. Well, yes I do. I have "tunnel vision". When I start cutting and putting things together I can't seem to stop. Now I'm concentrating on spring and Easter and I just want it all done so I can get it up. (maybe  a little OCD?) lol

Anyway I only took one photo of one project so I could post.

I know it's supposed to be spring but even though the temperature is milder, it's gray and dreary. So I will have lots of paper flowers to brighten up this place.

This project is a file from Jamie Cripps in the Sil store. She has created so many different 3d flowers and I'm in heaven.

For this project I used the 3d hanging flower ball, # 56932. I decided not to hang and just sat it on top of a vase. The butterfly was a free file from Sil.

Take a look:

Well, I intended to join the challenge on the Silhouette America blog but I can't find where to link it up.

Thanks for stopping by.

Yay, it's Friday!

Good morning! Are you as glad as I am that it's Friday? We've spent 4 nights this week at the ball park. Gabriel had 2 games and Cade (10 yr. old GS) had 2 games. I think we are all tired. Next week will only be 2 nights at the park, but that means 2 games a night.  I sure wish bleachers were more comfy. lol

All that actually has nothing to do with this post. Just letting you see how exciting my life is. lol

This is an anniversary card for another sister. Hers is next week.

This one uses Spellbinders dies too. I actually have been cutting other things but they aren't ready for showing.

So lets take a look at this card:

I actually signed this one. The last one she got wasn't signed. Do y'all ever do that? I seem to do it pretty often.
Thanks for stopping by.

St. Patty's anniversary

God morning and happy Sunday everyone. Hope you are all well.

This is the end of Spring Break for us. Tomorrow back to the usual. UGH!  I just wish the kids would have had some baseball practice. Oh, well, that's another post.

This post is about an anniversary. I have 2 sisters with anniversaries this month. This one happens to be on St. Patrick's Day. She and hubby are off on a getaway weekend right now. They should get their card tomorrow.

This one is simple using Spellbinders dies, which makes a pretty big impact.

Take a look:

I really like how this one turned out. I also like green. lol

Thanks for stopping by.

I know, you can't believe I'm posting two days in a row. Surprises me, too. But I'm finished with March projects. I just have to post. Now I get to work on Easter.

I love all the colors of Easter. Pastels are just so sweet. Cute bunnies, eggs, chicks.

Ok so on with this post. Today's post is my Advent calendar frame. There are a lot of cute St. Patty's Day cuts. Glad I like green. It's also Mardi Gras time so I have a little Mardi Gras mask in there too.

I'm entering this  at Exploring Cricut and More. The challenge is to use a shamrock. I think this fits.

Good morning all!

Hi, everyone. It's Tuesday morning and spring break here. Almost 7 and the grandson is still asleep. Hubby is off to play golf so I have a few solitary minutes to myself. I love this time. It's so quiet. won't last long. lol Pretty soon I'll be hearing, "Can I have my breakfast now?"
Oh well, it's nice while it lasts.

So for today I thought I'd post my banner. It is really simple but I liked the cuts. (which are all Sil cuts, still having guilt about not using my cartridges)

I didn't do a tree this time, couldn't muster up enough energy. Besides St. Patty's Day isn't that big of a deal around here. I think Easter will need a tree.

Anyway take a look:

These little hats are actually cupcake holders but they have a bottom so can be used to hold treats.

So that's it for today.  Thanks for stopping by.

I'm still having trouble doing the normal things with blogging. I'll blame it on spring fever because that eventually goes away, right?

Doing a little cutting and gluing but there are days I don't cut a single thing. I really hate this. So today I finally took pics of the St. Patrick's d├ęcor I managed to get up.

This cut file made me happy. It is a shamrock wreath by Jamie Cripps in the Sil online store. It's 3d (which I love) and it isn't tiny.

So when I read that Mary from Cardz TV has a 3d St. Patrick's Day challenge I was actually motivated to take photos.

Cut it Up is having a challenge - use green. This is challenge #40.

Anyway, take a look:

Thanks so much for stopping by.  I may have been lazy about my blog but I have enjoyed all of yours. You all brighten my day.

Can you believe it?

Surprise, Surprise! I'm actually posting today. I've set out to do just this every day last week and just couldn't do it. Isn't that nuts? I think I'm going through a procrastinating phase. (hope it ends soon) lol

Today I have a birthday card for a little girl who is turning 5. It's a simple card but it works.

I used a cute bear from Miss Kate Cuttables and happy birthday is a sil online file. The paper is from DCWV Celebration stack. (I think)

Thanks so much for stopping by.
