Horrible posts

Good morning. I'm not posting a project, mainly because I haven't taken photos yet. I have a problem.

On Bloglovin, I'm getting the horribly nasty posts in my daily feed. They are written in Chinese or Japanese or something like that. under the little intro it is written in English something about a life coach. I've been getting these and just scroll past them. A nuisance but that was about it.

Now some of these have a photo on the right and they are horrible! I would die if Gabriel was in  here and saw any of this when I am scrolling through my daily feed.
My question - does anyone know how to get rid of these disgusting posts.

Happy Monday

Happy Monday...I'm thinking positive! haha

I'm hoping to have some fun creating. (see...positive!)

I'm actually writing this Sunday for Monday. I haven't been able to post ahead and schedule them because that button wasn't there. Sunday it was right where it was supposed to be. (go figure)

So yesterday was my dear DIL's birthday. This one took several tries to get something done. Then it was way to thick for an envelope. So I thought easy I'll just make a nice box. Well I made 2 and hey were just too big even though I measured. (I do still have the boxes so I can use them for something else...a plus)

I settled on a gift bag. This worked out nice. There was a new box file by Jamie Cripps with a pretty flourish on it so I bought it and dressed up my bag. I also made her favorite brownies.  Her family is really nuts for these brownies, maybe she'll share. I don't know, because her oldest, my 13 yr old grandson, loves them just as much. haha

So here is her card:

Happy Sunday!

Good morning, all. Hope your weekend has been fabulous. Hubby is out of town and I still haven't crafted. The last few projects have been lots of trouble. I just needed to make birthday cards.

The one I'm posting today, I thought I would never get finished. This is the third idea I started. Each time I would screw up the design, die cut or both. Would come out horrible. I threw away so much paper.  This past week it seems it takes me 3 tries to find the right thing that works.

This would have been the perfect time to make some of the more elaborate projects I've gotten from SVGCuts. Not so far. Maybe this afternoon I'll be able to concentrate.

Anyway, the reason for this post. My niece's daughter turned 13 yesterday. She's such a sweet and she loves video games. I usually associate these cuts with boys so I did them in pink.

Take a peek:

I hope she liked it.

Thanks for stopping by.

Last "million" photos for the 4th! (I promise!)

Good Saturday morning! I hope you are all dry and happy. Yesterday we had over 6" of rain by noon.
Kind of soggy! lol  This morning woke up to rain again but has stopped for a couple of hours.

Today I intend to finish up posting photos for the 4th. Hate to bore you with more of this but I need to have a record I can refer back to next year.

Here goes:

Well that finishes the 4th! (finally) I know you will be glad! haha

Tomorrow something totally different. I promise.

Thanks for stopping by.

More of the 4th

Hi, all. It's about 9:30 pm Monday night and I hope I get sleepy soon. I've been up since 3 this morning. Hate when I do that. While I have the time I thought I would post.

I never posted the rest of my 4th projects. So here goes.

Well I think I used the wrong photo for the first one, it's really blurry. I would delete it and replace it but I do not know how. So I guess I'm stuck with this one.

Anyway this is my advent calendar frame. Not very creative but I like the bunting.

Thanks for stopping by.

Is it really Thursday

Hi, everyone. I cannot believe it's already Thursday. My son has to go back to Florida on Sunday, way too soon. We have been eating BBQ leftovers since the 4th. (his choice) So much meat. We went out last night for something different and Tuesday night we had one of his very favorite meals, po' boys.

These are not the cold cut po' boy. My dad had a favorite place in New Orleans where he and my mom used to get them. Later years she developed her own recipe from what they used to eat.  The whole family loves them so we had a crowd of 12 for these. I never can tell how much meat I need so needless to say there will be plenty of leftovers to freeze. Then one day we can enjoy them again without cooking.

Ok, this post is really not about food. My sister that came to the BBQ from Houston brought me a present. She designs and makes jewelry. (very well I might add) She made me a cute link bracelet. (she made the links by hand out of sterling wire) It's so light and comfortable. I just love it.

So the reason I started this post, I wanted to make her a thank you. She forgets things just like I do (I think we're twins 3 years apart) I made her a little post it note cover. So now she has paper and pen all in one. I'm also sending her some no glue gable boxes she can fold together to give her customers with their jewelry purchases.

Here is the note cover:

She loves yellow and lime green. She has a very bright personality.

And here is the fabulous bracelet.

Don't you love it?

I'm going to enter this note cover in DL.Arts Thankful Thursday challenge #136 - thank you

Thanks for stopping by.

Good morning

Hi, everyone. Hope you had a wonderful 4th.  The BBQ was terrific and I so enjoyed all the company. We never laughed so much. It really is different when the grown"kids" start telling stories of their escapades that aunts and mom's have never heard before. (and would have killed them for if I had known) But to hear the stories now they are very funny. (thank God I was in the dark) These cousins are in their 30's now but these things were done in their 20's. It only takes one with a "bright" idea. (my nephew)

Enough about that. I'm still trying to forget the mental pictures I have.

This post is about our niece who is having a boy in about 6 weeks. Her shower was last Sunday. They finally settled on a name so I used it on the package.

Take a look:

His room is blues and white with some tan so I decorated to match. (which she loved)  She unwrapped it without tearing any of the paper. I made a rattle shaker card too but didn't photograph it.

Anyway that's it for today. Have a great Sunday.

Hugs and God bless. Stephanie

Almost here

Good morning! Are you all ready for the 4th? I'm getting there. I still have things I'd like to make but may not have time. I need one more week.  A lot of my time has been spent getting ready for the BBQ. (I'd rather make things-less calories)

I do have several things I can post. Today I think I'll show my USA letters. These are from the SVGCuts Made in the USA kit. I love their kits (have you seen their newest - fabulous)

I'm also putting this one in a few challenges:

My Craft Spot - challenge # 142 patriotic
Craftin Desert Divas - craft it up/link it up red white and blue
DLArts- thankful Thursday challenge 135

Thanks for stopping by.

Well, out of the 4 I tried to link to only 2 worked. One said I had no images to link and wanted me to go through hoops to do it. Didn't need the aggravation. The other one said there was no page to link it to.
And so it goes...
