Finally Friday!

No school tomorrow! Are you as glad for Friday as I am? Hope there is some crafting in my future this weekend.

This evening I thought I would show you a few files I got from the Sil online store.

Take a look:

Thanks for the visit. Hope you all have a great weekend.

Hello, again!

Good morning! How is your Thursday going?  One more day till Friday, yea!

I am having to learn 3rd grade math. Not kidding! They are using terms that make no sense to me at all. Array, Commutative Properties, Distributive Properties and so many others. I don't even want to think about next year. So I have homework, too. Oh, well. It is what it is.

Today I'm going to show you my chocolate covered strawberry and champagne bottle. I actually made the bottle for New Years but I never showed you and I wanted to keep it out. So I added some pink ribbon and hearts.

Works for me.

So there it is.

Thanks for stopping by.

In heart mode

Good afternoon. Finally I'm posting. Hope everyone is warm and safe.

I just left the room for what should have been 10 min. It has been over a half hour since I was typing. I seem to be so scattered. I have been doing a little crafting but some days I just can't concentrate and get it together.

I do have projects done and today I took photos. But what I want to show you are these cute little treat boxes. SVGCuts  put a new  free file in their gallery. It's so cute! I made 5 of them this morning just because.

 Aren't they cute? They are only about 2 1/2" x 1".

I will try to post some more  soon.

BTW, my new washer is working great. I just have one problem...the tub is so deep I can't reach the bottom of it. lol The newer ones take up less room but unfortunately they are deeper. But we adapt, don't we.? That's what being female means, isn't it? haha

Take care and see you soon.

A little progress

Happy Monday, all. Hope you had a great weekend. Mine was very busy. Just not crafty busy.

Gabe decided to play baseball after telling us for 2 weeks he did not want to play this year.  So Saturday morning was the last time to sigh up. So I was at the ball park at 9am doing the paper work and paying.

When I got back home we went to Academy for cleats. We bought cleats, a new fielders glove, batting gloves and new sneaks for school. Then home we went.

We had to get ready for Cade's (11 yr. old gs) basketball game. They won! Then home again.

Next we got ready for church at 4pm. Finally got home at 5 to stay. No one felt very well.

Then Sunday  morning comes. It's nice to laze around drinking coffee and reading emails. (hubby played golf) A nice day. Hubby gets home about noon. Around 1pm we hear this horrible racket. It's my washing machine. I think it committed suicide.
My son had to buy one last weekend so we went to get one like his and there were none Would have to wait till Thursday to get one in. I don't know about you but I wash every day and no way could I wait for Thursday. So they found one in Sulphur, Louisiana (about an hour away). Hubby is on his way back with new machine. I made this card while he was gone. (bet you wondered where I was going with all this) lol

Anyway I had the little skates already made and I couldn't throw them away, could I? So I made the card.

So thanks for stopping by to see the card that I made for no reason.
Hope this is the beginning of a wonderful week.

Happy birthday Auntie

God morning!

Short post today. I have a card to show you for my aunt. Her birthday is just a couple of days away. It is another snowflake card. (I think it's the last one) ha

I'm kind of stuck. I tell myself I'm going to make something and then nothing happens. I want to do 3d but end up doing nothing. I need to get focused. Plus my hands hurt a lot less when I'm crafting.(You think that could all be in my head?) lol

Anyway here's the card:

It really is prettier in person. The center is a snowflake button.

Thanks for the visit.

Another Monday

Happy Monday, everyone. I don't know about you but getting back into the school routine is so hard for me.

Our weekend was cold and wet. It rained all day Sunday and not just little showers. We just stayed in.

Anyway the reason for this post. My besties birthday was yesterday.  Don't tell anyone but she turned 65. I think that is unbelievable In 6 months I will be 65, also. How did we get here?

So here's her card. I fixed her a treat bag with some goodies but didn't photograph it.

The cold weather seems to be getting to me. I feel a need to put snowflakes on everything.
Thanks for stopping by. Hugs and God bless. Stephanie

More birthdays

Good evening. I hope your Friday was good. Here it was rainy, cold and nasty.

Since I haven't really made much of anything, I'll just have to show you some more birthday cards.

It's been so cold a lot of my cards have snowflakes on them.

Thanks for stopping by.

Day 6 of the new year

Hi, all. It's almost 3 pm here. I haven't made much since Christmas.

When we went to our third celebration in Houston we were all exposed to the flu. New years eve Gabe and I were in the Drs. office. ''Luckily  - no flu - just sinus infections. Gabe was able to go back to school yesterday, he's fine. I'm having a harder getting over it. Age I guess. lol I feel pretty good for about 3 or 4 hours then not so much.

Anyway I tell you this because all I've been able to do is make birthday cards.

So that's what I have to show.

These were made from an SVGCuts file.
I loved the bicycle.
Thanks for the visit.
