Hello, again!

Good morning! How is your Thursday going?  One more day till Friday, yea!

I am having to learn 3rd grade math. Not kidding! They are using terms that make no sense to me at all. Array, Commutative Properties, Distributive Properties and so many others. I don't even want to think about next year. So I have homework, too. Oh, well. It is what it is.

Today I'm going to show you my chocolate covered strawberry and champagne bottle. I actually made the bottle for New Years but I never showed you and I wanted to keep it out. So I added some pink ribbon and hearts.

Works for me.

So there it is.

Thanks for stopping by.
Hugs and God bless. Stephanie

  1. I know what ya mean about the math! Hunter's in 6th grade and I'm totally lost when I have to help him... I have one of those special Calculators just to help him & me out... it's flippin' crazy! :) I do however LOVE your 3D Bottle! That looks so cool along side a yummy #D chocolate covered strawberry! Just an awesome set! :)

  2. Oh my - how fun is this?! I LOVE the strawberry, the details are just perfect. It looks like the real deal, good enough to eat! That champagne bottle is pretty fantastic too, I love the bling. I'm wondering if that is a real cork - it looks great!

Good luck with that math..blah. I hate the way the school systems seem to think it is necessary to change basic math every few years. I had to re-learn it when my boys were in school and it different yet again for my grands. Just crazy!

  3. omgoodness, how adorable! Absolutely fun and festive, and perfect for Valentine's Day. Love how you added some hearts to the bottle for February. Great way to extend the use of your decor projects! Oh, and good luck with the math! It's not easy to keep up, cause they don't do things like they did back in our day....

  4. Oh Stephanie, I so feel your pain! This new math is frustrating to say the least. And believe it or not, most of the teacher's don't like it either! I was lucky in that my youngest did well with it, but I had many parents who's kids didn't and they were so frustrated and had such a hard time helping their children. It's sad at the way things are going now in schools. It's supposed to spiral back around so that if your child doesn't get it the first time it will make more sense the second time. Not so sure that was working either! I'm so glad that I don't have to deal with that anymore. lol I love, love your strawberry dipped in chocolate and I love that champagne bottle! So cool looking and how fun to put hearts on it for Valentines! You go girlfriend! Hugs, Brenda

  5. Stephanie,
I know oh so well what you are talking about!! The schools teach so very differently from when I was in school that its a learning adventure for the parents these days. Thankfully, I homeschool my daughter but there are still things that stump me and I have to do my homework too before I teach her the lesson! LOL
Your strawberry and wine bottle are absolutely perfect! Love it, you always do such a great job!
    hugs,
