Hello, Tuesday!

Hi, Is everyone ready for Thanksgiving?  We're getting together with my sister that lives ten minutes away from us. Our kids and grandkids. I can't wait.

It's funny that when your parents are gone, it's harder to get together.  Our parents and both our in-laws are gone. Just makes for some really strange holidays.

Anyway, Thursday should be fun. (and I won't even mention the food)

Today I'm going to show you what I made for my sisters. They are both so talented and always making something for me and their skills are marketable. I play with paper.

They are always amazed at what I make out of paper, but so much of it is not perfect. I never feel like it's good enough to give to someone. Then I found a file that had a true use and made out of paper.

I made them clocks. This is a fabulous file from SVGCuts. (bet that is a big surprise) It's called Maison de Madeline.
It actually took me weeks to do this after I decided what I would make. I was so afraid I wouldn't be able to make them good enough. They really weren't hard. They went together like clockwork. (sorry about that) lol

Anyway I finally got them done and I'm really happy with the end result.

Take a look:

This one is for Denise. She is always taking a trip so she has an airplane and postcard on hers.

This one is for Debbie. She loves clothes shopping and handbags so hers has a hanger and purse on it.

The papers are different but they are both from a Tim Holtz paper pad.

Thanks for stopping by.
Hugs and God bless. Stephanie

(they loved them)

  1. OMGoodness, these are amazing! Working clocks? WOW! I love the vintage look to these, and love the layered cogs and gears... and how cool you added little details to personalize these. And listen, as somehow who doesn't know how to work these electronic files, I am constantly amazed at your creations, at the things you make from paper. Paper! Seriously, it blows me away!
