School again!

Hello!

How was your Thanksgiving? We had a wonderful day. We spent it with my sister family and all our kids and grandkids. This sister always has some new kind of crazy game.

This year it was a game called Tenzies. It is so crazy and we laughed so much. I haven't laughed that much in years.

(I ate too much) And I'm still eating rice dressing. lol

OK, I have a couple of cards to show you.
(Boy this is one disjointed post, isn't it?)

Thanks for the visit.

Black Friday

OK, how many went shopping this morning? I didn't even consider it.. Even looking at all the ads couldn't make me budge. Frankly I didn't see anything I needed to buy.

I used to enjoy black Friday shopping but that time has passed.

I'm just glad my tree is up.

So here are another couple of Christmas cards..

Thanks for stopping by.

Happy Thanksgiving

Just a short post to wish you all a wonderful day.

I have just one more fall project to show you.  This kit was made for Thanksgiving. I made my favorite project in this kit - the marquee pumpkin!

Isn't this cool?

Have a great weekend.

An autumn barn

Happy Wednesday!
Well just one more day till Thanksgiving. I'm so tired. I got my tree up and have been decorating for several days. I usually put my tree up the weekend after Thanksgiving. Now I hope I can just relax. (and maybe craft just for fun) lol

Anyway here is my barn. Mary, SVGCuts , created this barn to be spooky for Halloween. I already had 2 spook houses and I needed something for after the 31st. I just love it.

Take a look:

 What do you think?

Hello, Tuesday!

Hi, Is everyone ready for Thanksgiving?  We're getting together with my sister that lives ten minutes away from us. Our kids and grandkids. I can't wait.

It's funny that when your parents are gone, it's harder to get together.  Our parents and both our in-laws are gone. Just makes for some really strange holidays.

Anyway, Thursday should be fun. (and I won't even mention the food)

Today I'm going to show you what I made for my sisters. They are both so talented and always making something for me and their skills are marketable. I play with paper.

They are always amazed at what I make out of paper, but so much of it is not perfect. I never feel like it's good enough to give to someone. Then I found a file that had a true use and made out of paper.

I made them clocks. This is a fabulous file from SVGCuts. (bet that is a big surprise) It's called Maison de Madeline.
It actually took me weeks to do this after I decided what I would make. I was so afraid I wouldn't be able to make them good enough. They really weren't hard. They went together like clockwork. (sorry about that) lol

Anyway I finally got them done and I'm really happy with the end result.

Take a look:

This one is for Denise. She is always taking a trip so she has an airplane and postcard on hers.

This one is for Debbie. She loves clothes shopping and handbags so hers has a hanger and purse on it.

The papers are different but they are both from a Tim Holtz paper pad.

Thanks for stopping by.

Maybe a record?

I'm talking about the fact that I'm posting for the second time this week. Maybe a trend? I make no promises. lol I do have some more cards to show you.

I've made more Christmas décor but so far no photos. What happened to that photo fairy?

I was so excited to get my cards done early but I still haven't addressed them and gotten them ready to mail.

Here is a couple more cards.

I enjoy your visits. Have a great weekend.

Lets try this again...

I can't seem to get things right.

If I decide to post, I realize I don't have any new photos. If I do take photos, I forget about posting.

I did make a lot of Christmas cards 2 months ago and I took pics. Now I'm finally getting around to posting.

So here goes:

                                                                        front

                                                                          inside

Thanks for taking the trouble to stop by. I hope to be more "here" in the future.

Hugs and God bless.

Happy Friday

Happy Friday all! I have a short post for today.
This birthday card is for another great nephew. His birthday is tomorrow. He and Gabe were born exactly 2 months apart.

Happy Wednesday

Good morning. Today I have a card to show you.

Sunday was one of my son's birthday. He asked for tacos with all the trimmings so that's what we had.

He likes to duck  hunt and duck season opened this weekend so I thought his card was perfect.

No frills. He liked it.
Thanks for stopping by.

Happy Nov. 3rd

Hope you all had a great Halloween weekend. Ours was very wet. Gabriel didn't even want to get out in the rain so we stayed in. Of course trick or treating isn't the same as it was when we were growing up. All of it is now done going to church festivals. The kids really enjoy all the jumping outdoor things but the rain cancelled that. Also we haven't had any "kids" come to our door for treats in years and wouldn't you know it - 10 kids show up in the rain. Go figure!

So today I'm posting the new Halloween décor for this year. I didn't make a lot, used some from last year.

Well, that's it for today. Right now I'm kinda working on some fall and Christmas. Just really making things because I want to. Such fun. Just wish I had a maid! (not even kidding)

Thanks for stopping by.
