Good Sunday morning

Good morning. I'm not fully awake yet. So I'm apologizing now if this makes no sense.

This will be very short.

I'm showing you the last of Valentines projects. At least what I have photos of.  I forget to take pictures sometimes.

Anyway, this is it.

Happy Friday

Is everyone as glad for Friday as I am?

This was a short week for school here. (teacher work day last Monday) But Tuesday they got right into the Starr testing practice. This time it's for a writing test. I don't even understand the terminology and 4th graders are expected to write and understand prose like in high school. It's insane. It's very hard to help him when I can't "get" what they want. Anyway I'm glad for Friday. (and so is he)

OK. Now to the reason I am here today.

I have a few Valentine things to show you. (I know I'm late)

I know this isn't Valentine related, it's winter. I just loved this bag so I made it and put it out.
All these files are from SVGCuts. Thank you Mary!

February 14th

Just wanted to say Happy Valentine's Day to everyone.

Hope you have a wonderful day.

This is really short and sweet as we are heading out to a birthday party for our niece's daughter. She turned 5 on the 11th. I'll show you her card later. Today it's my hubbies Valentine card.

This file is from Dreaming Tree. I made the card several weeks ago but I had to search for the perfect sentiment.

It's always been a "thing" with my hubby and I to be the first one to say "I love you more." So this one was perfect.

Thanks for stopping by. Have a great day.

Ash Wednesday

Good morning.

It seems like Christmas was last week and here we are starting Lent today. Time is flying.

This is not a post about Lent or Easter. We have to get through Valentines Day first.

Today I'm showing my banner. I love this frilly banner. It's been up for a few weeks but last week I added the finishing touch. A cute cupid's bow.

Both of these files are from SVGCuts.

Thanks for stopping by.
Hugs and God bless.

Good morning!

Happy Monday! (still trying) Smiling, too. lol

I hope everyone has a wonderful start to this week and it just gets better.

Did you watch the Super Bowl? Hope you enjoyed it? I don't watch at all. Times like this I'm so glad for cable. Not stuck watching Super Bowl or World Series or any news conferences, speeches or award shows if I don't want to. lol

I watch reruns of old sitcoms, movies or the "biggie" play with paper and glue!

Anyway, I hope your team wins. As I'm writing this it's only 10:30 Sunday morning. (hours before the game starts)

The subject of this post is really Valentines. Usually when It's a week from the holiday, I am not still making things for that particular holiday. But . . . Leo, of Dreaming Tree, gave us another free file. This time it is the cutest little tea light holder. I made 2 of them right away. Who can resist free and easy?

Take a look:

This time I put pink tissue paper instead of vellum inside. Looks a little different but I like it.
What do you think?

Thanks for stopping by.

Happy Friday!

Well, how is everyone? I don't know about you but I'm so glad it's Friday.

Of course it's going to be a busy Saturday. Baseball has started. So tomorrow we start shopping for cleats, special undergarments, clothing for warmth, socks, belts etc. All to spend 2 - 8 hours a week freezing the first few weeks and smothering the last few weeks. lol  And I wouldn't miss it for the world.  Gabriel has moved up to little league from minor league so now we have 2 grandsons playing the late games. They do not start until 7:30 pm. So we are lucky if we are home by 10.
They are not on the same team so we could possibly be at the ball park for 4 nights a week.
That was hard to do 30 years ago. Needless to say during baseball I don't do much else.
But "gotta watch those grands"!

It may surprise you but this post has nothing to do with baseball. (I just got started rambling)

This post is about Valentines projects.

The treat box is a free file from Dreaming Tree, Mr. and Mrs. card is a freebie from SVGCuts and the rose is a free origami pattern from youtube.

It's so nice when companies give you a whole project for free. They are always cute and fit together perfectly. Makes you want to buy all of their designs. ( and I almost have)

Thanks for stopping by.
